SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 8 soon to hit European market with 6 GB of RAM and the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system

In the database benchmark Geekbench revealed the results of testing the upcoming release of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, yet not officially submitted by the manufacturer.

In the benchmark is Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with the model number SM-N950F, it is designed for the European market and supports one SIM-card. Judging by the benchmark data, it is based on the Exynos 8895 processor, 6 GB of RAM and the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

According to earlier leaks, the smartphone will receive protection from water and dust at the level of IP68 and design is, in fact, a double of the flagship Galaxy S8 and S8 +, debuted in the spring. Even with a 6.3-inch display, Galaxy Note 8 is barely larger than the S8 +. However, it has a touch of style, typical of the Note series, with more square corners. The dimensions are 162.5 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm.

Super AMOLED-display has a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a parity of 18.5: 9, like the Galaxy S8. The hardware base was the Exynos 8895 processor for all regions except the US, where the smartphone will be based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 6 GB of operative and 64 GB of internal flash memory with the ability to expand microSD cards.

Dual main camera will receive two 12-megapixel modules, one wide-angle with aperture f1.7 and autofocusing system Dual Pixel, the second – telephoto f2.4, they provide double optical zoom. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and aperture f1.7. The battery has a capacity of 3300 mAh, recharging is via the USB Type-C port or wirelessly.

The official debut is due August 23 at an event in New York, which has already been confirmed by the manufacturer. According to rumors Galaxy Note 8 will be the most expensive smartphone Samsung. The price will reach about a thousand dollars in South Korea and more than 1100 dollars in Europe, South and North America.
