BlackBerry will launch its QWERTY-packing BlackBerry Q10 handset on T-Mobile stateside, the company reportedly confirmed.
According to N4BB, a BlackBerry representative told the publication that T-Mobile plans to release the Q10 sometime in May. T-Mobile is the US’ fourth-largest carrier, and its rumoured Q10 launch in May puts it on-par with what we’ve heard from Sprint and BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry Q10 is aimed at users who love a physical keyboard. It features a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity, NFC, a microSD slot, and a 2100 mAh battery.
A leak last month pointed the touchscreen BlackBerry Z10 launching on T-Mobile 27 March, later in the month as we expected. The Z10 will also be offered by AT&T and Verizon. Sprint is the only carrier stateside that has opted out of carrying the BlackBerry Z10, presumably because of its focus on the iPhone.
The BlackBerry Q10 is expected to go on sale in Canada and the UK sometime in April.
